How to Learn a Foreign Language?

Look up only those words which cannot even be guessed or determined based on context. Make it a routine to browse through the chapters of the textbook everyday.

Start to communicate: Do not feel embarrassed if you make mistakes, simply hear what others are talking about and start to speak. You can have a good practice of the foreign language if you speak out loudly to yourself, to others in the same class or with your dog or cat at home.

Noting it down: Know how to express yourself in writing everyday till it comes a part of you. Request a friend to dictate some small paragraph of the language and then find out how much of it has been written correctly.

Miscellany: Study the foreign language with a positive frame of mind, have pre-set objectives and goals. Ensure that you have set objectives and are clear about the paths which would take you there. 1.f you need help get it and do not be afraid to ask questions or ask for help for fear of sounding stupid, or being embarrassed. 1.Ask questions, get help and never feel awkward to ask for assistance. 2.Get audio tapes of the language and listen to them or make you own tapes and listened to yourself in order to perfect your pronunciation. 2.To better your pronunciation, the best way is to listen to audio tapes of the language or you could record something yourself and listen. 3.Make colored flash cards which help you to grow vocabulary where different colors are used to convey genders and words like nouns, verbs and adjectives, etc. 4.If you practice studying in groups, you can make good friends with your classmates which would be eager to help you out.
