I live in a city that many say boasts the best pizza in the world. New York is a wonderful place, and you’d be hard pressed to walk a few blocks in any commercial neighborhood without finding a pizzeria.
Well, I’m not averse to this very popular dish myself and living here I’ve certainly had plenty of time and opportunities to taste different kinds of pizza. I’d like to let you know about some very interesting varieties I’ve come across.
If you enjoy dishes that are creative and a little different, then I’m sure you’ll like this selection. Either homemade or bought from a restaurant in your area, I just know you’re going to like them.
The first specialty pizza I would recommend is the mac and cheese. Yes, it is unusual as far as pizzas go, but try it and you’ll agree with me that it tastes good, especially with breadcrumbs on top.
The spinach/artichoke recipe is next on my hot list. It’s a spinach pizza with the addition of artichokes and a creamy mix of cheeses. Some say it’s the best pizza they’ve ever had.
I’m a fan of buffalo chicken, and I find it tastes even better served up on a hot pizza crust. If you share my appreciation of buffalo chicken, get yourself one of these and you’ll definitely fall in love with it!
Add to the flavor of it all by either applying bleu cheese to the slice or keeping it separate with a dip. You’ll find that it even tastes great with the crust.
I hope you are inspired to try at least one of these unconventional pizza recipes. I love all three and hope you’ll be just as impressed as I am.

When people think of soup, they often think of the simple types. Chicken noodle, tomato soup, vegetable soup, and split pea may come to mind. There are many more though. Let’s run through a few great soup ideas that may appeal to you.
The first one on my list is a butternut squash soup that features an apple flavoring with it. It goes above and beyond the traditional roasted butternut squash soup by adding a nice, sweet and healthy layer to it.
You’ve probably had soups with croutons in them, but this variety is my favorite when it comes soups featuring croutons. Broccoli soup with a cheese flavored crouton is absolutely great. Whether it’s cheddar, swiss, or any other variety, you’ll want to go with whatever suits your personal tastes.
3. Potato nugget soup. You can prepare the potato any way you want, but I would suggest baking it to keep it healthy. Boiling the potato is another way to go, as it’ll naturally boil while being cooked with the soup anyway.
Appropriate for the time of year, why not try doing something with pumpkin? The natural spices of the pumpkin are absolutely great when hot. You can go with a creamed soup, a bisque, a gazpacho, and other original twists.
Lastly, a cream of turkey soup with turkey dumplings inside. This requires a bit more work, but it’s such a great soup and my personal favorite. If you have the energy to pull this off and you like turkey, then I know how you’ll feel about this soup.
Well, I hope I’ve inspired you in one way or another. Most importantly, have some fun and always test the limits.
